The brand’s new lip balm contains a blend of Alpine Rose and Lysine formulated from fruit and flower oils

UK-based lip care brand balmkind has released its new Alpine Rose and Lysine Lip Balm product (£13), to tackle sore, chapped and dehydrated lips.

With antioxidant rich fruit and flower oils, and extracts, oat lipids and soothing liquorice root, the product is also said to help the production of collagen in the lips.

The ingredients also protect against UVA and UVB rays and it contains SPF20.

The brand’s tubes are said to be made from a mix of LDPE and HDPE, which is widely recycled.

Meanwhile, its boxes are sensibly sized to avoid waste packaging and are made from recycled card, which can be used again.

The product is also manufactured in the UK, is cruelty-free and contains no parabens, mineral oils or petrolatum.
