From e-commerce to our ageing population, this year’s in-cosmetics marketing trends presentations promise to provide insight into the key trends influencing the C&T industry. Imogen Matthews reports

This year’s in-cosmetics trends presentations will include the latest research and fresh thinking on trends within the global cosmetics and toiletries markets. In addition to presentations from major research companies, including Kline, Euromonitor, Datamonitor and Mintel, there will be two panel discussions focusing on this year’s in-focus theme entitled H2O, which examines the role of water within the beauty industry, the environment and for beauty products. New for 2013 will be a morning of presentations devoted to the latest trends, regulations and formulations challenges in the fragrancing of cosmetic products. There will also be live interviews with Rebecca Hopkins, co-founder and Director of Balance Me and Katrin Steinbach, Innovation & Research Manager at Cosnova.
