In-cosmetics Global, the world’s largest personal care ingredients event, has announced a date change for its 2021 edition.
Originally scheduled to take place in April, the event will now run 5-7 October 2021 at Fira Barcelona in Spain.
Reed Exhibitions, which organises the in-cosmetics family of events, said the move would hopefully allow time for the impact of Covid-19 across the world to stabilise.
Roziani Zulkifli, Exhibition Director at Reed Exhibitions, said: “After consulting with exhibitors and key stakeholders, we recognise that in order to hold an international event there needs to be more time to allow for the reopening of borders and lifting of travel restrictions. It is clear that the industry needs to meet in person later in 2021.
“Large scale events are subject to ever-changing national and local guidelines and regulations.
“Our priority is to deliver an engaging and Covid-secure face-to-face event with combined virtual solutions in October as we are able, one that gives our exhibitors and visitors the additional time to adapt and continue on the path to recovery.”
