All the attention of the main cosmetics’ manufacturers in the Latin community is directed at Brazil. The programme

The programme will include more than 50 hours of quality content, including workshops and technical seminars, and an area devoted to market trends, where industry data, case studies and surveys by agencies like Mintel, Euromonitor and Factor Kline will be presented. There will also be really practical experiences from the Formulation Lab, involving interactive training sessions, formulae creation and something new, the Make-Up Bar, where visitors will be able to get to know how new pigments can be applied in a variety of ways.

We thought about offering an all-round experience, which helps personal care product manufacturers decide on the best ingredients, the claims of which meet market demands, comply with regulatory requirements and offer training for a broad vision of the industry and, consequently, ensure greater success with consumers”

Brazil and Latin America

Brazil’s relationship with Latin American countries in the cosmetics industry is extremely strong. Its location and skin and hair similarities favour the supply of products and a connection with the innovation that comes from other parts of the world.

According to the Brazilian Ministry of Industry, Foreign Trade and Services, in 2016 Latin America took 82.6% of all Brazil’s international sales in the personal care industry, worth a total of US$ 510 million. The biggest buyers are Argentina (23.8%, Chile (10.5%), Colombia (10.4%) and Mexico (10.2%). Foreign sales of Brazilian hair products are the highlight. New product launches represent a 30% share in revenue.
