Skin care clinic sk:n has appointed Karyn MacKenzie as its Chief Operating Officer.
Previously MacKenzie worked for the BMI Group as its Healthcare Regional Director and oversaw the management of 15 private hospitals.
With over 20 years experience in the health and leisure industry, she will be responsible for sk:n’s business growth through the development of new and existing clinics.
“I have a strong personal interest and extensive experience in the healthcare regulation and clinic strategy,” said MacKenzie.
“[I] believe that this is an area of the business that I can really add value to.
“sk:n is still a relatively young business and on its growth journey and I am really looking forward to not only helping sk:n grow its clinic network but helping to develop and embed a process and culture that will facilitate this, too.”
MacKenzie will also be responsible for finding new revenue streams, retaining and growing sk:n’s existing customer base and advancing clinical compliance.
sk:n currently has over 100 doctors at 49 clinics across the UK and offers more than 200 treatments from laser hair removal to anti-ageing injectables.
