US hair care specialist Alterna has created three styling and protecting products designed for use on the beach this summer. The limited edition Bamboo Beach range was developed to help protect hair against the damaging effects of the sun, chlorine and salt water by providing UV and colour protection and mositurising benefits. It follows the release of the brand’s popular Bamboo styling range.
The line features Summer Ocean Waves, a lightweight texturising spray that adds volume and movement to the hair, to recreate a ‘back from the beach’ look. Mango Coconut Refreshing Dry Shampoo, meanwhile, contains organic bamboo extract and coconut extract to help moisturise parched summer hair, and refreshes with a summer fragrance based on mango and coconut. Lastly, Summer Sun Recovery Spray is a hydrating leave-in conditioner, claimed to reduce frizz and protect from UV damage. Products will be £21 each.
