Alterna\'s \'complete correction\' cream is said to impart ten benefits in one step

Following the trends for BB and CC creams in facial skin care, Alterna Haircare has launched a CC cream for hair, Caviar CC Cream Leave-In Hair Perfector. Said to be suitable for all hair types, the CC initials in this instance stand for 'complete correction' and the cream is said to impart ten benefits in one step, namely: moisture, shine, smoothness, softness, anti-breakage, heat protection, light hold, UV protection, manageability and strength.

Key ingredients in Alterna's Caviar CC Cream include caviar extract, which contains amino acids and omega-3 fatty acids that help smooth the hair shaft and increase sine; vitamin C, which helps repair and resist damage caused by free radicals; a proprietary technology called Color Hold, which locks in hair colour brightness; Seasilk, a blend of marine botanicals that is said to provide exceptional moisture; and Enzymetherapy, an enzyme delivery system that improves the absorption of essential ingredients for superior keratin production.

According to Alterna, the product can be used alone or as a foundation for the layering of other styling products and should be applied evenly to clean, towel dried hair. Alternatively, it can be used on dry hair as a finishing product.

Caviar CC Cream Leave-In Hair Perfector launches in October and is available in select salons for £24.95.
