The ‘Single Ladies’ singer’s brand Cécred will be available later this month

Beyoncé has revealed more details about her highly anticipated debut hair care line.

Called Cécred, the ‘Single Ladies’ singer’s textured hair brand will be available to purchase from 20 February.

The Grammy Award-winning artist initially teased the launch on Instagram in May 2023.

She posted a series of images including the singer in front of a mirror with what appeared to be product tester bottles.

This week, she shared a video reel depicting herself alongside other models washing and styling their hair.

“Hair is sacred. The journey begins Feb 20,” reads the accompanying caption, alongside a link to the website cecred.com.

Product details have not yet been revealed.

Consumers can sign up via the website to receive more information ahead of the launch.

Beyoncé previously hinted that the line would be inspired by her childhood experiences in her mother’s hair salon, family and salon culture.

“Having learned so much on my hair journey, I have always dreamed of carrying on [my mother’s] legacy,” the ‘Crazy In Love’ star wrote on Instagram last year.

“I can not wait for you to experience what I have been creating.”

The launch follows the former Destiny’s Child singer’s return to the fragrance market with Cé Noir, her first fragrance launch in a decade.

Launched last November, the scent features notes of clementine, golden honey, rose absolute and golden amber.

Celebrity beauty brands continue to be a big draw for consumers, with the market surpassing US$1bn in sales in 2023.

This has been propelled by the likes of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty, Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics.
