Carl Haney to join Estée Lauder from P&G

Carl Haney is to join The Estée Lauder Companies as executive vp, global R&D, corporate product innovation, package development from 1 January 2012. He will report to president and ceo Fabrizio Freda.

Haney joins Lauder after more than 20 years at P&G, most recently as vp, R&D, male grooming, Gillette, Braun & devices.

Commenting on the appointment, Freda said: “Carl is a proven leader in R&D and innovation and has significant experience directing and guiding teams around the world. His passion for innovation and extensive knowledge of locally relevant product development will build on our company’s considerable strengths and keep us on the cutting edge.”
