Celebrity stylist Sam McKnight is entering the scent market with a “fragrance with benefits” due to consumer demand.
The hairdresser has bottled the signature scent in his Hair by Sam McKnight hair care line into a unisex fragrance that protects hair from UVA/UVB damage after it being the brand’s “most consistent feedback” from fans.
The project has been “years in the making”, McKnight told Cosmetics Business.
“I have lost count of how many times I have been stopped by someone for them to tell me how much they, their partner [or] their best friend loves it [the signature scent],” he added.
“We have over a thousand five-star reviews, [so] it felt like just the right time.
“Hair perfume is such a hot category right now, and I felt we could bring something unique – a fragrance that not only smells incredible but also cares for your hair.
