Eurofins Healthcare Assurance launches four new GMP certification scopes for dietary ingredients, cosmetic products and over-the-counter drugs

The Eurofins Healthcare Assurance network of companies is pleased to announce the addition of four new GMP certification scopes under its GMP Certification programme to support buyers and suppliers to reach US FDA compliance for dietary ingredients, cosmetics and over-the-counter drugs. 

Following the success of the Eurofins Healthcare Assurance GMP Certification Programme for dietary supplement scopes at the beginning of this year, Eurofins Healthcare Assurance moves to expand its service coverage to further promote safety, quality and best practices to sectors which have been experiencing rapid growth in the USA, including: 

• ISO 22716:2007 – Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics 

• NSF/ANSI 455-3 – 2024 – Good Manufacturing Practices for Cosmetics 

• NSF/ANSI 455-4 – 2024 – Good Manufacturing Practices for Over-the Counter Drugs

• 21 CFR 111/117, NSF/ANSI 173, Section 8 – 2024 for Dietary Ingredients 

All key product categories and manufacturing processes are observed and evaluated during the on-site audit against agreed requirements, alongside an in-depth assessment of quality management systems. Any nonconformances found during the audit are resolved before a certificate is issued, this is followed  by regular monitoring and recertification activities, ensuring that Eurofins Healthcare Assurance GMP certification stands among the most rigorous programmes available.  

Securing Eurofins Healthcare Assurance certification means that manufacturers receive a GMP certificate and the right to use Eurofins Assurance certification marks. This certification achievement boosts brand reputation and fosters transparency, providing a competitive advantage amid tough competition.
