Branching into bricks-and-mortar for the first time, the online fragrance seller is building its brand and educating consumers offline

Fragrance.com, an online perfume retailer, has opened its first ever pop-up store in the US.

The 1,500sqft pop-up, open from 1 October to 8 January at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, New York, stocks more than 750 designer fragrances including gift sets for the holidays.

Our goal is to continue to build the fragrance.com brand and educate the designer beauty consumer online and offline

Consumers can take advantage of up to 70% off retail prices, in line with the etailer’s online pricing, on brands including Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Versace, Michael Kors, Perry Ellis, Chloé, Cartier, Coach, Gucci, Juicy, Jimmy Choo and Ralph Lauren.

Sales associates will be on hand to help the consumer with queries, equipped with iPads. Patti Kapla, VP of Business Development at fragrance.com, said: “Our goal is to continue to build the fragrance.com brand and educate the designer beauty consumer online and offline.

"We felt the best strategy to reach and educate the offline consumer was during the holiday season – our busiest time of the year.”
