Devout fans of Hello Kitty will probably have heard already that their favourite fictional character is set to collaborate with nail polish brand OPI for its latest collection.
But today more details have been released by the Coty brand. The collection, Hello Kitty by OPI, is slated to hit shelves around the world in January 2016 and will feature 12 limited edition nail lacquers as well as matching GelColor shades, for use in professional salons. Among the 12 shades will be one special edition signature nail lacquer kit that comes with two Swarovski crystal ‘bow’ embellishments.
However, Coty told Cosmetics Business that even though it predicts the products will sell through from January to April, if products sell out, they will not be replenished.
Shades include: Kitty White, Charmmy & Sugar, Let’s Be Friends!, Look at My Bow, Small + Cute = ♥, Spoken from the Heart, Starry-eyed for Dear Daniel, Super Cute in Pink, My Twin Mimmy, 5 Apples Tall, My Pal Joey, Never Have Too Mani Friends and Say Hello Kitty! Special Edition.
The lacquers will cost £12.50 each.
