The line includes three new cologne blends, as well as two home fragrance products

Jo Malone London is paying homage to English lavender with its latest collection.

The new limited edition Lavenderland range, which is set to launch on 24 February, is said to offer a fresh perspective on the ingredient.

For the collection, Jo Malone has developed three cologne scents, Lavender & Coriander, Silver Birch & Lavender and Wisteria & Lavender Cologne, as well as two home fragrances including a Lavender & Musk Diffuser and Pillow Mist, which is a first for the brand (from £25).

Jo Malone’s VP of Global Product Development, Celine Roux, teamed up with master perfumers Yann Vasnier, Marie Salamagne and Anne Flipo to create the line.

“In perfumery, we mainly use French lavender. It is such a familiar, popular scent, so we wanted to explore it in ways that you might not be used to,” said Roux.

“We’ve taken natural English lavender and gone in three different directions with the other ingredients, to give it that Jo Malone London twist.”

Throughout history lavender has been used to treat anxiety, insomnia, depression and even cancer, and has been used in many other ways to promote health and wellbeing.
