The peach-flavoured orodispersible powder dissolves in the mouth

Laboratoire PYC, a dietetic and nutritional supplements specialist, has expanded its range of nutricosmetics with a new anti-ageing nutritional supplement in stick form.

The French company’s peach-flavoured orodispersible powder dissolves in the mouth and provides a cocktail of four active ingredients, which are said to help prevent skin ageing by reducing oxidative stress, hydrating and preventing skin sagging.

‘The confectionery effect is guaranteed with this sweet and acid melt-in-the-mouth powder,’ explains Caroline Focillon, who was responsible for its development. ‘Our intent was to combine a moment of pleasure with effectiveness.’

The product has been formulated for European and Asian consumers and includes Vitamin C for its proven action in the formation of collagen. The peach flavour is particularly popular in Asia, where Laboratoire PYC continues to expand. For the development of this new product, the R&D team drew inspiration from small beauty jellies sold in Asia.

The product is presented in a 3g stick and is the sixth nutricosmetic formula to be launched by Laboratoire PYC. The line comprises a collagen-based nutritional supplement, an anti-blemish formula, an anti-cellulite formula, a skin-hydration drink and a skin-lightening/tone-smoothing supplement.

The range is based on concentrated and clinically proven active ingredients and natural flavours.

This new formula will be presented at the Cosmoprof Asia trade show in Hong Kong from 12-14 November, Stand 1E-FIB (France Pavilion).
