OPI partners with tennis star for grand slam season

Move over Venus... tennis player Serena Williams has a new Wimbledon doubles partner in OPI. The nail brand joined forces with Williams, who is also a qualified nail technician, to create Serena Glam Slam, a range of tennis-themed nail colour duos, launched to coincide with grand slam tournaments across the globe.

In celebration of the Wimbledon Championships, which begin today, OPI is introducing two nail lacquers – Your Royal Shine-ness (silver) and Grape…Set…Match (purple) – each of which comes in a set also containing OPI’s new glitter top coat Servin’ Up Sparkle.

This follows the launch of a shimmering tennis ball green, Simply Smash-ing and two sets inspired by the French Open: Spark de Triomphe (metallic glitter) paired with a White Shatter shade; and Rally Pretty Pink (metallic pink) paired with Red Shatter.

Another set will be introduced in September 2011 to coincide with the American Open.
