Skincity launches SkinMedica and Instytutum into the UK

The retailers aims to merge the professional skin care experience and e-commerce


Online beauty retailer Skincity has recruited two new brands to its portfolio.

The company is launching Swiss skin care brand Instytutum into the UK market with a year-long exclusivity deal.

The retailer described IInstytutum’s founder as “a truly visionary woman and top-level executive of a successful pharmaceutical corporation, renowned for manufacturing innovative medical solutions.

“Her dream was to create her own skin care range and to provide products that deliver outstanding results.

“To pursue her passion for beauty and to make her vision come alive, she partnered with the most prestigious Swiss research and development laboratory and from here Instytutum was born.”

Skincity is also reintroducing US luxury anti-ageing specialist SkinMedica into Britain after a five year absence.

The retailer aims to merge e-commerce and the professional skin care experience by offering consumers an online skin test from then they will receive a tailored product offering.
