Omni Scents and Miss Universe ink fragrance deal

First three scents due to launch this summer


The Miss Universe Organization has signed a deal with fragrance marketer and distributor Omni Scents to launch a line of fragrances inspired by beauty pageants. The Miss Universe Fragrance Collection will feature an annual series of three fragrances promising to channel the allure and glamour of the Miss Universe, Miss USA and Miss Teen USA pageants with the first trio of scents set to launch in August 2013.

Neil J Katz, the former chairman and ceo of Parlux Fragrances Inc, who founded Omni Scents in 2012, commented: “Young women from every corner of the world dream of competing at Miss Universe and one day becoming as beautiful and accomplished as the winner. We hope to tap into that mindset and with each fragrance create an aura that makes every girl feel confidently beautiful.”

Paula Shugart, president, Miss Universe Organization added that the partnership would enable the organisation to “continue to build a lifestyle brand reflective of who we are”.
