Omni Scents to launch fragrance line for Maxim

First foray into fragrance and grooming for popular men’s magazine


US based fragrance marketer and distributor Omni Scents has partnered with the Alpha Media Group to launch a fragrance line for men’s magazine Maxim. The collection, which is aimed at capturing the “excitement, fun and suggestiveness” of Maxim magazine, is expected to launch in autumn this year, extending into department stores and fragrance retailers globally.

The announcement follows just one month after Omni Scents acquired the rights to release a trio of fragrances under the Miss Universe brand from the Miss Universe Corporation, which is expected to hit stores in June.

“The Maxim brand continues to resonate with men around the globe. We welcome this first fragrance brand for men, which will provocatively express the brand’s unique voice,” said Jack Kliger, Executive Chairman, Alpha Media Group, who added that the line will have “tremendous appeal to the global Maxim consumer.”

"Maxim is more than a magazine. It is a lifestyle brand that resonates with men all over the world," said Neil J. Katz, President and CEO of Omni Scents, who was previously CEO of US fragrance manufacturer Parlux Fragrances prior to setting up Omni Scents.
