Samson strengthens 3730 series
Samson Controls has added a new model to its range of 3730 electro pneumatic control valve positioners, said to combine high quality air output capacity with optimum functionality and ease of operation.
The new Type 3730-4 with Profibus-PA communication features analogue control allowing for an unsurpassed positioning response, according to Samson. It also ties in with related Samson models such as the Type 3730-3 with Hart communication, the Type 3730-5 Foundation Fieldbus positioner with PID controller and LAS capability, as well as the Type 3730-2, without communication capabilities.
All models in the 3730 family of positioners feature an integrated microprocessor, enabling automatic start-up at the push of a button, as well as additional parameters including split range operation, tight closing function and saved characteristic selection.
