Versatile valve position monitor replaces solenoid valves
Samson Controls offers electronic valve position monitor
Samson Controls is offering an electronic valve position monitor, type 3738, which can be used with on/off valves across a wide range of applications. The device is a contactless, magneto resistive sensor system that works with a NAMUR signal in compliance with IEC 60947-5-6 and is powered by a two-wire supply, meaning it can replace existing solenoid valves and limit switches without the need to change wiring or signal levels. Functions include self-tuning and diagnostics.
The supply air for the actuator is routed through bores at the bottom of the housing, making additional tubing unnecessary, which makes it suitable for integrated attachment.
In addition, the contactless position sensor makes adjustments and moving levers redundant.
