CPL Aromas and Plant Lipids renovate a school in India: A commitment to education and community

CPL Aromas, a global leader in the fragrance industry, has partnered with Plant Lipids to  support the renovation and upgradation of the Government Higher Primary School in Kelasuru, Gundlapet Taluk, India. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to sustainability, education, and community empowerment.

The school, which serves children from the surrounding rural communities, was in urgent need of infrastructure improvements. Many of its facilities—including classrooms, toilets, and  kitchen—were either damaged or in disrepair, limiting the quality of education and safety for  students.

Together, CPL Aromas and Plant Lipids are helping to change that. The project, already  underway, includes the renovation of smart classrooms, construction of new boys’ and girls’  toilet blocks, upgrades to the kitchen and hand wash areas, and the addition of a new stage  and play equipment. These improvements are designed to create a safe, inspiring, and  dignified space for learning—restoring not just infrastructure, but also pride and opportunity  for the local community.

This collaboration reflects both companies’ shared values of social responsibility and long term impact. The project has already mobilised local stakeholders and is progressing steadily, with several areas completed and others in active development.

Stay tuned: in just a few months, we’ll reveal the completed school and the stories of the children who will thrive within its walls.
