The Beauty Tech Group, parent company of CurrentBody is significantly expanding its headquarters at Alderley Park’s Glasshouse, more than tripling its existing space as part of a strategic move to support ongoing global growth.
The group will increase its footprint from 5,000 sq ft to more than 16,000 sq ft within the Glasshouse building.
The newly refurbished, open-plan space will accommodate up to 200 employees, and the group said it will provide a dynamic, flexible environment tailored to the evolving needs of the fast-scaling business.
The expansion follows a period of rapid international growth, driven by the commercial success of the CurrentBody Skin LED mask and accelerated by the group’s acquisitions of Tria Laser and ZIIP.
“Since moving to Glasshouse at Alderley Park in 2021, the group has continued to develop and it was an easy decision to find a larger space for our growing teams,” said Laurence Newman, CEO of The Beauty Tech Group.
“Whilst we are a truly international business with offices in the US and China, Glasshouse at Alderley Park is our HQ and I am delighted to be committing to the future here.”
Alderley Park is part of the Bruntwood SciTech network, a joint venture between Bruntwood, Legal & General, and the Greater Manchester Pension Fund, and the UK’s largest property platform dedicated to the growth of the innovation economy.
Glasshouse is home to more than 250 startups, scaleups, and established businesses across science, tech, and digital sectors.
Sam Birtwistle, Senior Commercial Manager at Bruntwood SciTech, said: “The Beauty Tech Group’s growth at Alderley Park is a great example of what providing a supportive, collaborative ecosystem can do for scaling innovative businesses.
“Our ability to flex and adapt to meet TBTG’s needs has meant its North West headquarters have remained at the heart of the business.
“We are excited to see the next chapter in their success story.”
The expanded HQ is designed to enhance collaboration, productivity, and wellbeing, with access to campus amenities including a gym, café, event space, and extensive outdoor routes for walking and cycling.
