L’Oréal is taking steps to deliver on its recent promise to double its India operations “in the next couple of years” with the announcement of two senior India appointments.
The French beauty giant has named Aseem Kaushik (pictured left) Chairman of L’Oréal India, while Jacques Lebel (pictured right) has been appointed as Country Manager.
Kaushik, a 30-year L’Oréal veteran who has served as Country Managing Director of L’Oréal India since 2023, will assume his new position on 1 October 2025.
He will lead efforts in building corporate reputation, managing public affairs, enhancing stakeholder relations and advancing corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Lebel most recently held the role of General Manager for L’Oréal’s Consumer Products business in Mexico, and his career includes senior roles at Procter & Gamble and American-Belgian brewery AB InBev.
L'Oréal India has been operating in India since 1994 and is a subsidiary of French multinational L'Oreal SA, which owns a 99.99% stake in the company.
