I owe much of my success to the British beauty retail scene, and this is why I still think it is one of the best in the world.

The power of the UK beauty retail scene can undoubtedly help propel lesser-known brands into the hands of the right people.

But what makes the UK shopping environment so special is the fact that it is both specialised and personalised like no other market. 

British consumers know to head to high street retailers Boots and Superdrug for their health care and mass beauty buys – and, pertinently these days, possibly a very good beauty dupe thanks to own-brand lines.
