Charlotte Tilbury to unveil latest Airbrush foundation at café-themed pop-up

The Puig-owned make-up brand has been teasing new complexion product, '3D matte-not-flat' Airbrush Flawless Foundation, which will finally be unveiled at ‘Café Airbrush’ activation in London, UK

Charlotte Tilbury has revealed its latest foundation innovation at an airbrushed-themed café pop-up in the UK.

The Puig-owned make-up brand’s ‘Café Airbush’ activation in London shopping destination Covent Garden is giving beauty lovers a sneak peak at its newest complexion product – "3D matte-not-flat" Airbrush Flawless Foundation.

The product is a reformulation of its popular pore-blurring Airbrush Flawless Foundation, but uses new Power Blur Airtech in a fresh formula to provide 24-hour wear that is "light as air" – as well as now coming in 44 shades.

Taking place 28 to 30 August, visitors will be shade-matched on-site by the brand’s MUAs, known as ‘Charlotte’s Airbrush Angels’, and given a free sample of the foundation product. 

Prizes can be won in the ‘Light-As-Air’ game, which range from deluxe samples and in-store services to limited-edition merchandise. 

A free ‘flawless fan’ will be gifted to all attendees.

Guests can also take an Instagram-worthy photo with Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Wings and enjoy complementary drinks – Light-As-Air Lattes or Refreshing Peach Iced Teas.

"Darlings, to celebrate the launch of two new innovations I am so excited to invite you all to the ultimate beauty pop-up,” said Tilbury.

“Introducing my world-first Café Airbrush.

“I have created an immersive experience, where you can find your flawless shade match, play games for the chance to win exclusive prizes and enjoy a Light-as-Air Latte with your friends.”

Charlotte Tilbury’s Café Airbush pop-up takes place 12pm to 7pm on 28 August, and from 11am to 7pm on 29 to 30 August.

Charlotte Tilbury will also be hosting a separate activation in three John Lewis & Partners stores across the UK to celebrate its new foundation innovation.

The brand’s ‘Shade Match Portal’ will pop up at the department chain’s Oxford Street, London; Cheadle and Nottingham sites, featuring a shade-match photobooth and a foundation vending machine.

It takes place at Oxford Street on 28 to 30 August; Cheadle from 5 to 6 September; and Nottingham on 27 to 28 September.
