Published: 1-Sep-2025

On 3–4 September 2025, Manchester Central will host UKPackaging Expo, a major gathering of packaging leaders, innovators, and decision-makers. With over 70 exhibitors and 2,500 visitors expected, the event is dedicated to bringing world-class packaging expertise and opportunity to the North of England

The Future Packaging Conference

At the heart of the expo is the conference programme, where industry leaders will take to the stage to debate the biggest challenges and opportunities facing packaging today. Highlights include Jason Galley (MPMA) on “Born Circular! The Value of Metal Packaging” and Jamie Riley (Robinson Packaging) on “Challenging the Anti-Plastic Sentiment in Today’s Society.” Both will also lead major panels — Jason heading the Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) debate with Keep Britain Tidy, Novelis UK, and Ardagh Group, while Jamie joins Reckitt, Beauty Kitchen and Eastman to explore what it will take to transition towards a truly circular economy. Alongside these, sessions will cover everything from AI’s impact on packaging to talent development and next-generation sustainability.

The exhibition floor will bring together some of the most influential names in packaging. Confirmed exhibitors include Unilever, Toly, Avery Dennison, Sun Branding, Dapy Paris, Valpak, SR Mailing, Markem Imaje, Fibrestar, CPack Ltd, Aura Consultants, Made Smarter, McKinleys, Lil Packaging, Nuon Medical, Beyondly, Robinson Packaging, EPL, SEFE, Northern Packaging Society, Webpac, Digimock, and many more.
