Exclusive: Rituals’ unveils limited-edition saffron Intuitia Collection for AW season

Rituals is gearing up to launch its new limited-edition Intuitia Collection for autumn/winter, designed with the intention of giving customers “space for their intuitions”. 

The latest limited-time launch from the Dutch-based global beauty brand – following The Dream Collection –  features a saffron, sandalwood and vanilla-infused scent.

It features in 14 bath and body, home and beauty products, including Soothing Bath Silk, Home Perfume, Body Exfoliator, Scented Charms and a travel-size roll-on perfume.

The collection launches on 1 September, with prices ranging between £10 and £63.

The Intuitia collection was designed around creating a moment of “stillness and reconnection” in a customer’s busy life.

And the additional effort and consideration that goes into creating these limited-edition launches stems from them being among Rituals “strongest seasonal drivers”, Lot van Rij, Innovations Director at Rituals, tells Cosmetics Business

“They consistently generate excitement and often sell out before the season ends,” van Rij said.  

“For us, these editions are much more than just products – they are storytelling moments that capture the spirit of the season and invite our community to experience Rituals in a new way.

“From there, our fragrance team developed a composition that is both calming and energising.”

Although scent plays an important role in the limited-edition collections, this is often supported by higher-quality packaging, with each product featuring unique artwork. 

For the Intuitia Collection, Rituals wanted to convey a “sense of mystery and discovery”.

Van Rij added: “These elements weave together to create little visual clues to the world of Intuitia.

“Inviting you to look closer and uncover the details.”

Keeping things fresh

But creating limited-edition launches is not without its hurdles.

The biggest challenge is time; the window for development and production is often shorter than for a permanent collection.
