Glossier CEO Kyle Leahy is stepping down from the role at the end of 2025.
Leahy, who has helmed the millennial-pink brand for three years, announced her departure on 24 June via a company-wide email to staff.
Leahy confirmed the news in a LinkedIn post, stating that after stewarding the brand through a period of “immense transformation", Glossier is “larger and more profitable than ever before”.
She added: “The board and I believe this is the right moment to bring in the next CEO to lead a new phase of growth.
“It has been such an honour to work with this incredible team – a resilient and remarkable group of talented individuals who continue to innovate and inspire.”
Leahy will continue to serve as a Glossier board member and work with company founder Emily Weiss to secure a new CEO for the company.
She continued: “So much opportunity still lies ahead – the future is bright.”
Leahy took over as CEO after Weiss left her role as CEO in 2022.
She joined the Glossier team in 2021 as Chief Commercial Officer, and has previously served at major brands, including American Express, Nike and Cole Haan.
Weiss established the digital native brand in 2014 and has steered it to become a billion-dollar business.
