L’Oréal has named Rodrigo Pizarro President of its business in Korea.
Pizarro is a long-standing executive at the French beauty giant and most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer across L’Oréal’s South Asia Pacific, Middle East and North Africa business.
Prior to that he led the company’s Australia and New Zealand business, where he was credited with leading its digital transformation based on data and AI (artificial intelligence).
Pizarro started his career with L’Oréal in Portugal in 1993.
Since then has held a number of roles, including leadership positions in Europe, South America and Asia Pacific.
“It is an honour to serve as President of L’Oréal Korea in the birthplace of K-beauty and a leader of global beauty trends," said Pizarro.
"I am committed to further strengthen the partnership with the Korean ecosystem that has continued since L'Oréal Korea's establishment in 1993 to spread K-beauty innovations globally and to create the beauty that moves the world."
