There is no denying that the at-home beauty tech category is booming, but with increased market scale comes the potential for issues to arise, such as dupes.

The global home-use beauty devices market is forecasted to increase at a CAGR rate of 26.1% to US$89m by 2030, according to analyst P&S Intelligence – an incredible feat for one of beauty’s youngest categories.

Despite this predicted growth, not all brands operating in the space are created equal, Laurence Newman, CEO of British beauty device retailer CurrentBody, told Cosmetics Business.
