DSM-Firmenich has named Jonathan Simon as the next President of its Fine Fragrances business division.
Current President Jerry Vittoria, who has led the division since 2017, will retire from the company in 2026 after 35 years with the fragrance and flavour company.
Simon steps up from his role as VP on DSM-Firmenich’s Procter & Gamble (P&G) business.
Prior to DSM-Firmenich, which he joined in 2020, Simon spent 12 years at L’Oréal where he worked on fine fragrance creation for brands such as Lancôme, Viktor & Rolf, and Cacharel.
The executive also spent time on the L’Oréal Paris brand, working across product categories, and has spent time in global roles in Japan, China and Singapore.
Currently based in Singapore, Simon will be based at DSM-Firmenich’s Paris, France, office.

DSM-Firmenich was formed by the merger of Dutch-Swiss nutrition, health and biosciences firm DSM and Swiss perfumery player Firmenich in 2023.
The business is composed of four divisions, including Perfumery & Beauty; Health, Nutrition & Care; Food & Beverage/Taste & Beyond; and Animal Nutrition & Health.
