001 London launches its answer to signs of skin ageing

Luxury skin care brand 001 London has launched its answer to help tackle signs of ageing.

The, Alpha-Glow Flash Facial (£85) is a 3-in1 serum, mask and primer, designed to help improve skin’s texture and suppleness.

The brand was founded by aromatherapist Ada Ooi who wanted to formulate a hybrid skin care range combining Western science with Eastern dynastic methods.

Ooi said: “Four years in the making, we have realised our ambition to create the next generation serum, one that tackles the core of natural skin ageing, directly targeting our daily concerns in just one bottle.

The product contains nine key ingredients, including hyaluronic acid, phospholipids, alpha-arbutin, stable vitamin C, are polysaccharides, rose stem cells, vitamin E, vitamin A and salicylic acid.

Talking about the key ingredients Ooi added: “Nine incredibly effective ingredients work both individually and in fusion, creating and even greater effect, resulting in incredible skin tone, texture and glow.”

The brand also stocks moisturisers, cleansers, active peels, toners and masks, which are all designed to ‘return skin to a state of natural equilibrium’ at a cellular level.

Each product is formulated and developed at its 001 equiHybrid Lab in the UK, using natural actives and synthetics developed by the brand’s team of botanists and biochemists.

“The combination of practical insight as a facialist and my background growing up in a ‘melting pot’ of Asian cultures compelled me to create a skin care line to help the time-poor, like myself, balance their skin,” said Ooi.

“The excesses to which we expose ourselves daily - high pollution levels, work lives filled with psychological stress and overly processed foods - all require a counterbalance.”
