As vegan beauty continues to be one of the most inescapable trends of the year, with global vegan cosmetics launches rocketing 175% in the last five years according to Mintel, it's clear that consumer appetite for animal-free cosmetics is higher than ever.

However, a new survey of vegetarian beauty consumers in the UK has revealed there may still be untapped opportunities in the sector: of the 500 polled, 36% said they were unaware
