Sales sagged from economic pressure, falling by 3.2% to €226m in 2015, although improving on the previous year
It has been a looking glass time for Italy’s aesthetics sector with cosmetics sales in the channel over the past few years mirroring the country’s economic downturn.
But in 2015 the wrinkles were not quite so marked, with sales falling just 3.2%, compared to the previous year’s 3.7% slip and 2013’s 5.5% decline, according to Cosmetica Italia’s Beauty Report 2016.
