Arcade Beauty acquires fragrance business from Suite K

The US product sampling company will take over Suite K's 78,000sqft New Jersey plant

Arcade Beauty, the cosmetics sampling company, has bought the fragrance business of Suite K.

Taking over Suite K's fragrance production assets, Arcade Beauty will acquire a 78,000sqft Dayton, New Jersey, facility where Suite K currently makes vials, sample-size products, rollerballs and full-size fragrances for retail.

Arcade Beauty said it will begin fulfilling orders for the division as soon as possible, with the help of the Dayton plant employees who will transfer to Arcade Beauty.

Talking of the acquisition, Peter Lennox, CEO of Arcade Beauty, said: "It significantly increases our filling capacity and blending capabilities in the fragrance arena, underscoring our commitment to providing best-in-class sampling technologies for our customers."

Meanwhile, Kathleen Croddick, founder and CEO of Suite K, added: "The sale will permit us to concentrate resources on areas of strategic business focus, while providing a great new home for our people and the exceptional work they do."
