Beiersdorf has partnered with recycling specialist Werner & Mertz to create an industry standard for the use of mechanically recycled waste plastic in cosmetics packaging.

The two companies, together with the Fraunhofer Institute for Process Engineering and Packaging (IVV), drew up an inventory of existing recyclates on the European market.
