The tenth edition of Beyond Beauty Paris (10-12 September) received mixed reviews from delegates and exhibitors but in general, considering the economic climate that still prevails in Europe, there was a very positive vibe about the show, as Katie Middleweek reports from Paris
The tenth edition of Beyond Beauty Paris, held at the popular and central Porte de Versailles exhibition centre last month was determined to show delegates, both domestic and international, that the beauty industry was starting to put its financial woes behind it and put on a united front. In reality, the first day of the show was definitely quieter than normal and proceedings took rather a while to get going, with visitor numbers down on last year. However, enthusiasm was more the order of the day on day two of the show as more delegates crossed the threshold to see what the great and the good of the beauty industry had to offer.
