Cosmetify launches beauty price comparison app ahead of Black Friday

The cosmetics website aims to help shoppers find the best deals and savings across more than 1,700 brands

Beauty price comparison website Cosmetify has unveiled a savings app just in time for Black Friday on 27 November.

Available for free on iOS and Android, the app lets users price-compare more than 400,000 products from popular UK retailers including ASOS, Boots, Cult Beauty, Feel Unique, Harvey Nichols, John Lewis, Look Fantastic and Selfridges.

Cosmetify is developed to refresh prices in real time as consumers browse through 1,710 brands.

Shoppers will now be able to create wish lists via the app and search for prices by scanning the barcode while browsing in-store. This feature will then connect the app user to the cheapest beauty outlet for purchase.

Users can also create price drops alerts and notifications of when items are back in stock.

The app is currently only available in the UK, but will roll out to the US later this year.

Matt Davies, founder of Cosmetify said: “The pandemic has led to a significant rise in online shopping and helped accelerate the shift to a more digital world.

"Within this, consumers are increasingly seeking more value from the products they purchase."

Launched in 2019, Cosmetify claims that users save 34% on average from luxury and drugstore brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Estée Lauder, Benefit, REN, Huda Beauty, Urban Decay and The Ordinary.
