Croxsons, the UK-based glass packaging company, has expanded its repertoire into the world of beauty with a new line of products.

Building on its existing business growth in the food and beverage sectors, Croxsons is now offering a range of single-source packaging solutions for the home and beauty sector, including glass bottle containers, closures and decorations for candles, reed diffusers, perfumes, cosmetics and personal care products.

James Croxon, the company's chairman, said the move into home and beauty had been “on the cards for some time now”.

“Given our glass packaging expertise, global connections and ability to provide stand out primary packaging solutions, we firmly believe that we are well placed to provide brands in this sector with an unrivalled and engaging customer journey.”

To head up the new division, Croxsons has appointed packaging technologist Amanda Pritchard as its National Sales Manager, who boasts more than 15 years' experience in beauty packaging with previous roles at Nekem and Collcap Packaging.

Since its origins as a wholesale bottle merchant in 1872 by founder William Croxson, the family-owned company has gone on to receive a Queen's Award for Enterprise in 2019 for its range of glass packaging and closure solutions, and today sells in more than 50 markets worldwide.
