Fake tan manufacturer St.Tropez is claiming to have solved one of the major customer complaints about self-tanning – the smell.

New technology, developed in partnership with fragrance supplier CPL Aromas is said to virtually eliminate the unpleasant ‘wet biscuit’ aroma associated with self-tanning products, to instead leave a subtle floral fragrance on the skin.

The patented AromaGuard technology combines notes of iris, fresh fruits and violets and has been added to all St. Tropez products. The fragrance technology is part of a wider overhaul of the brand, which will see St. Tropez unveil new packaging and a new visual identity. The new products will be available from March.
