New Chapter are currently working on behalf of a leading global fragrance house to recruit an experienced General Manager to lead the Dubai facility for the global organization. Based in Dubai, this role will be a sales led position with responsibilities for the running of the Dubai facility; leading across key areas including Sales, Marketing, Creative Perfumery and Evaluation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Develop and communicate the strategy for the division
- Manage team of perfumers
- Manage department heads across - Sales, Creative Perfumery, Marketing and Evaluation
- Chair and attend regular meetings including, monthly sales meetings, general managers' meetings and division directors meetings
- Full P&L and budgeting responsibility for the division
- Keep within all Group authorisation levels as directed by Main Board
- Ensure all Dubai employees meet our Values and understand our Mission and Purpose
- Responsible for Health and Safety on site and to develop our environmental initiatives.
The ideal candidate for this opportunity will have significant experience in a fragrance sales focused position. Will be knowledgeable of the Middle East markets across all categories and will have a proven background of leading multifunctional teams across commercial and technical capacities. Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
