Industry powerhouse Deb Farnworth-Wood purchased Issada Cosmetics in 2020

Australian cosmetics and clinical skin care brand Issada have announced their imminent move to larger premises – more than a year ahead of time.

Deb Farnworth-Wood, owner and director of the brand, confirmed that the move originally expected to be necessary by early 2023 has been brought forward to accommodate the swell in customer base.

“Issada has exceeded our expectations during the last six months to the extent that our existing premises were inhibiting our growth. We are relocating both our Bulimba and Nerang factories into larger premises in Helensvale, on Australia’s Gold Coast providing a centralised facility.

"The new building will triple the size of our warehouse, pick and pack, dispatch and production facilities, provide a training suite and allow further expansion space for the future”.

Positive customer impact

Industry powerhouse Farnworth-Wood purchased Issada Cosmetics in 2020. Since then, the brand has undergone a full brand refresh, introduced Issada Clinical Formula – an effective clean cosmeceutical range and extended its existing make-up range.

Stockists have appreciated Farnworth-Wood’s extensive industry expertise acquired through the growth of a single aesthetic clinic into the Australian Skin Clinics (ASC) franchise of 60 clinics before exiting the business in 2019.

Farnworth-Wood says: “We treat all our stockists as an extension of our business providing them with training, education and the support of highly skilled BDM’s. We understand the value that our stockists need and that our success and theirs are entwined. Our results speak for themselves with a growing stockist base and increased average order value”.

Future goals

Issada plans to continue to service the aesthetic clinic and salon market in Australia as well as extend its international presence too.

Farnworth-Wood explains: “In my first year of ownership the focus was on putting into place effective processes and systems that provide for business sustainability and growth.

"The new facility is the next piece of the jigsaw and with that largely done we have a robust structure to go forward with. I am fortunate to have an experienced and passionate team, who share my vision. Several team members have been with me for many years and were part of the ASC success”.
