Sex and the City star Kristin Davis has been signed as the international face of UK based Dead Sea mineral skin care range, Ahava, as part of the company's global advertising campaign.

Sex and the City star Kristin Davis has been signed as the international face of UK based Dead Sea mineral skin care range, Ahava, as part of the company's global advertising campaign.

Featured on the brand's international websites and various marketing and communication initiatives, Davis will help promote and support the Avaha products alongside her commitments for the up and coming Sex and the City movie, planned for 2008.

“Avaha is known for delivering the health benefits of the Dead Sea to people worldwide, through effective, natural skin care products. My personal beliefs, which include treating both animals and the environment with respect, are equally important to Ahava,” Davis said.

Avaha's parent company in Israel, Dead Sea Laboratories, has welcomed the partnership, suggesting that it heralds a new era for the Ahava brand.

Ahava products can be found in leading department stores, salons, pharmacies and by mail order nationwide.
