Micro Powders appoints technical director

Micro Powders, a US supplier of high-performance wax additives, has appointed Richard Czarnecki as technical director. He has taken responsibility for all technology functions for both the industrial and personal care divisions of MPI.

Czarnecki joins Micro Powders with more than 28 years of experience in the graphic arts industry. He began his career with Converters Ink (later ICI and Zeneca Inks), where his responsibilities progressed through management roles in product development, technical services, and regulatory affairs. He was then director of polymer science and engineering for 11 years at Sun Chemical’s Technical Centre, where he led the development and global commercialisation of polymers for use in paste, liquid, and energy curable inks and coatings. Most recently, he was chief technical officer at Superior Printing Ink.
