New Nailbuff app provides nail polish ‘library’ for consumers

New app NailBuff has launched in the UK with the aim of providing a one-stop shop and resource for nail polish fans.

Using the app, customers will be able to find nail colours to match outfits and create a library of their own shades, which can then be added to a wishlist and shared on social media.

Currently, brands including essie, OPI, Barry M, butter LONDON, Ciaté and Jessica are available for customers to view.

Founder Harpreet Birdi said: “I love technology and was intrigued with how it could be blended with my other passion, beauty.

“NailBuff is a unique but fun way to discover new nail polishes and new brands all from your phone.”

Birdi started her career in investment banking HR before deciding to qualify as a nail technician.

The app is free to download for iOS via the AppStore, meanwhile, its android version is in development.

Birdi added: “We’re excited to continue to develop the app and implement the buying function later this year. The ultimate goal is to become the go-to destination for nail polish purchases.”

By the end of the year, the company hopes to implement an e-commerce tool, allowing users to shop for their favourite shades directly through the app.

It will also allow nail bars to list their salons and shades.
