Through the platform, customers will be able to shop brands across beauty, home and fashion

New London-based shopping app LetsBab has made its UK and US launch.

The peer-to-peer recommendation app allows customers to shop and share brands - via messenger or social media - and earn 5% of the sale of the item if their recommendations are purchased.

Users can shop across beauty, fashion and home from brands including Coach, ASOS and Boohoo; all of which are nominated by users who would recommend to a friend.

The app is said to expand its portfolio of brands on a weekly basis.

Commenting on the new venture, LetsBab founder Bonnie Takhar, said: “We know that a personal recommendation is the most powerful, it’s something we do every day but there is no one platform that facilitates, tracks and rewards this behaviour.

“We are the first platform to allow anyone and everyone to share what they love and earn cash.”

Customers will also be given the option to share their earnings with a partnering charity, such as Women for Women, Movember, Smile Train, Water is Life and The Trevor Project.

Takhar added: “LetsBab provides brands with a direct voice to the consumer, with the most authentic marketing voice.”
