Omya acquires natural formulators Formulae Development

The Swiss personal and oral care ingredients manufacturer is expanding its footprint in North America

Personal and oral care ingredients manufacturer Omya has acquired Formulae Development, a natural formulation specialist.

According to Omya, Formulae Development focuses on trending solutions and the deal will expand Omya's R&D in the Americas.

Founded in 2005, Formulae Development's natural formulations include skin and hair care.

"By leveraging both Formulae’s commitment to customer satisfaction through creation of exceptional finished products and Omya’s international network of technical innovation centres," Omya said in a statement.

"The combined businesses will be best positioned to serve the needs of both customers and principals nationwide."

Swiss-led Omya has personal care locations in California, New Jersey and Mexico City.
