Driving a variety of product development projects both new and existing ranges within Kids Beauty, Toiletries, Gifting, Fragrance and Home Fragrance/Lifestyle. No two days are the same due to the variety of the product category and style of the range so if you enjoy taking ownership, making decisions, and operating in a fast-paced culture this opportunity could be a great fit.
Supporting a busy sales team to provide product ideation, preparing detail briefs, working closely with in-house creatives top being the product to life, negotiating cost prices and MOQ’s, creating and maintaining critical paths, value engineering, preparing brand presentations, mood boards and working closely with supply chain to ensure projects are delivered on time and products reach the shelf. There is constant liaison with oversees manufacturing partners; Far East and Asia in particular (experience is essential).
Many ranges are seasonal, and trend inspired. The UK Market is a strong one, but the business also has strong Export business, therefore some awareness of Compliance and Regulations is useful but there is expertise within the team focusing on this area.
Proven experience of developing products within Beauty/Toiletries/Gifting/Fragrance/Home Lifestyle is preferred but similar FMCG maybe considered. This role could suit someone looking to make the move from contract manufacturing to a brand-side role so a great opportunity!
Flexible working is available, with offices in Hertfordshire you’ll need your own transport to reach the site and will also be able to work from home part of the week.
