Will add moulding and assembly equipment

Packaging company Rexam has announced plans to expand existing operations at its Excelsior Springs production facility in Missouri by more than 50% to support growing demand. The facility, which manufactures custom moulded components for personal care product brands, will add moulding and assembly equipment with the intention of further increasing the triple-digit revenue growth that Rexam has enjoyed over the past decade.

“This is a great reflection of our people in Excelsior Springs and the relationships we have built with our customers,” said Julie Vergnion, category manager, Rexam Personal Care Division. “This expansion further demonstrates our commitment to supporting customer growth as we build on our existing high-quality operations and continue our focus on delivering world class quality products and services to our customers.”

The Excelsior Springs plant employs over 130 workers and forms part of Rexam’s global plastics business, which operates more than 45 plants worldwide.
